Since 2005, JJohnson Communication has been a strategic communications and marketing adviser for colleges and universities, K-12 and independent schools and community nonprofits. Janis Johnson opened the firm after more than a decade as a senior communications executive in higher education branding, marketing and fundraising and 25 years as an award-winning journalist with major news media.

Using a network of communications specialists in branding, marketing, content, design and social media, JJohnson Communications provides comprehensive communications and marketing solutions at a reasonable cost and with hands-on client service.

Now affiliated as Senior Partner with The Napa Group, Janis’ depth of experience expands to multi-year strategic planning. Core to her practice is aligning strategic communications and marketing with organizational priorities to build market position and stakeholder buy-in and engagement.
